Over time, brass naturally develops a patina when exposed to air and moisture. This is part of its charm and doesn’t affect the light’s performance. Some people choose to polish their brass to keep it bright, while others may prefer to let it age naturally for a more authentic look.

All Lampfix Navigator lighting comes with a three-year electrical warranty. This covers the internal components, but excludes bulbs.

We sell light bulbs separately, giving you the option to choose the right light level, colour temperature and energy efficiency for your needs. All fittings are compatible with LED bulbs, which are recommended for their long life and low energy use.

If you’re buying a plug-in lamp or fitting, you can install it yourself. For wired wall or ceiling lights, we recommend using a qualified electrician to ensure everything is safe and compliant with UK standards.
