Lighting with presence

We offer everything you need to light each area of your home with style and ease. From reading lamps designed for focus to tall ambient lights that create atmosphere in larger spaces. They can be used either as a light source for practical tasks, such as reading or for sculptural designs, as a centrepiece in the living room. Many of our lamps also feature adjustable heads or dimmer functions, allowing you to have full control over the lighting in your space.

Trusted lighting brands

We work with some of the most respected names in lighting, including Laura Ashley, Dar, David Hunt, Endon, and Tala.

Each brand brings its own distinct look and feel, whether that’s timeless craftsmanship, modern design innovation, or a touch of luxury. With these collections, you can choose a floor light that feels both practical and decorative.

What different types of floor lights are available?
  • Arched floor lamps: Perfect for positioning over seating or dining areas, their sweeping frames add drama and function.
  • Contemporary floor lamps: Clean lines and sleek finishes that suit modern homes, often with adjustable heads or dimmer controls.
  • Reading floor lamps: Designed with focus in mind, these lights are ideal beside an armchair, sofa, or desk for task lighting.
  • Traditional floor lamps: Timeless styles with fabric shades and classic detailing, perfect for more traditional interiors.
  • Tripod floor lamps: Stylish three-legged designs that bring structure and elegance, great for corners or open-plan rooms.
  • Uplighter floor lamps: Tall lights that direct illumination upwards, creating ambient glow and a sense of height in your room.

Where to use floor lights

Our range of floor lights are ideal in living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, and even hallways. They can be placed next to armchairs, sofas, or desks to provide task lighting where overhead lights may feel too harsh.

In open-plan spaces, floor lamps are a great way to zone off areas and create pools of light that add atmosphere. Their height and shape also make them a natural choice for filling empty corners, to give your interiors both light and structure.

Accompanied by our range of wall lights, you can create an ideal balance of lighting throughout your room.

Can floor lights replace bedside lamps in the bedroom?

Floor lights can be used instead of bedside lamps, especially if you prefer a minimalist look or want to save space on your nightstand.

A slim, adjustable reading lamp works well next to the bed, while a tripod design can add height and style in a larger bedroom. Just be sure to choose a lamp with a soft lampshade or a dimmable bulb to avoid overly harsh lighting.

What types of bulbs are best for floor lamps?

LED bulbs are the most practical choice. They’re energy-efficient, long-lasting, and available in a range of colour temperatures. Some floor lamps also support smart light bulbs, giving you control over brightness and colour via an app.
