The height of bedroom pendant lights depends on where they’re positioned and how they’ll be used.

If you want a central pendant, it should generally hang high enough to allow clear headroom beneath it. For most bedrooms, this means leaving around 7 feet (about 2.1 metres) between the floor and the bottom of the light.
